Football as Art Exhibit Opening Reception (+ Volunteer with DART)

The soccer ball — a simple sphere of stitched panels — carries with it stories of unity, energy, and global passion. From dusty fields to grand stadiums, it connects cultures and generations, symbolizing teamwork, resilience, and joy.

This exhibition explores the soccer ball as both object and muse — transformed through painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and mixed media. Artists are encouraged to reinterpret the form, movement, and emotion of the game, using the ball as material, motif, or metaphor.
